Definition: Dyslexia is a neurological disorder affecting language based skills. Dyslexia may involve difficulty with reading, writing, and spoken and receptive language. Dyslexia is a complex disorder involving the ability to perceive auditory and/or written information and to process that information to understand it. Dyslexia may also involve the weaknesses in the ability to express language in written or spoken form.
