When I was your college child's age, I used to trudge to the library in the cold with snow up to my elbows just to find study materials. Kids today have no idea what it's like to walk uphill both ways..... Okay, just kidding. But college kids have great resources available to them at the click of a mouse. Here are some resources they shouldn't miss.

• Cliff's Notes have saved many a time-pressed student, including yours truly. Cliff's Notes offers many free study guides, yours for the download.
• Spark's Notes is another publisher of study guides that offers many free titles on their site. Spark's Notes also offer fact charts in many subject areas. You can read them for free and print them out for a small fee.
• World Public Library offers e-books for a low membership fee of $8.95 per year.
• Podiobooks.com offers free serial audiobooks for download for your mp3 player.
• Freecomputerbooks.com offers an impressive collection of free books on computers and information technology.
• Dailylit.com will send daily installments of e-books direct to your email address. Many are free, and some are available at a small cost.
