IBM Offers Free Online Educational Game - Science fun with a Serious Mission

Introducing PowerUp - IBM has developed a fun and educational online game that teaches science and the importance of protecting the environment. Best of all, it has built-in features to help students with learning disabilities and sensory impairments play along with non-disabled peers.

What does PowerUp offer for people with disabilities?

PowerUp can be played in many different ways and customized with options that a user can select, as well as special commands available to all players. Students with learning disabilities and visual impairments can use the audio reader feature that provides speech and sound effects. Students with fine motor difficulty can play with only a keyboard or only a mouse. More on Accessibility:
