Bought a program
- Not sure if it's OK to recommend a purchased program here, but I bought a program called Full Year Notebook which turned out to be the best system for planning, organizing and being prepared I have ever found. It has clear step by step directions which direct me through the whole process of planning my school year. I don't used packaged curriculums, so loved this method of getting all my various materials on the table and make a cohesive study out of them! It's only about $20 and comes with a money-back guarantee. No, I don't work for them!

Color coding!
- Daughter color-coded the kids. Red, Green and Blue. We buy notebooks, book covers, storage bins, etc. in the proper color per child. I buy a ream of each color of printer paper so can print worksheets, quizzes, etc. on the proper color for ease of identification (pink for the "red girl" because red paper is too hard to read). When something is left out, it's easy to know who needs to clean up! When 3 kids are working at a table, it's easy to know what belongs to whom. We buy color-coded pencils, erasers, pencil sharpeners, etc. for mini rewards for good behavior or good school work! The kids loved it, so daughter got color-coded bath towels, and puts color dots on the back of Barbie and Bratz dolls so each daughter knows who owns which doll. Prevents lots of disagreements and keeps things much more orderly.

I was online doing research...
- So, I have developed a process of studying due to my own learning disability that is mainly geared for older students. It is simple and very user-friendly. The students structure their study habits to meet their needs. It is so personalized so that the students builds their own study habits, or build on the habits they already have to the point they become the teacher. It also teaches them along the way to put into practice different techniques that are innate in all of us. It is such a self-esteem builder! They will build on their difficulties in a way their difficulties become their assets. It’s so amazing the possibilities are endless… However, I’m only in the beginning stages of putting a proposal together. With in my proposal I have listed the Challenges I face and am wondering if there is anyone there who might consider helping me? Thank you so much for your time! Doug
