Testing Infants for Disabilities and Developmental Delays

Parents of infants and toddlers are naturally concerned about their children's development. We want to be aware of any developmental delays so we can ensure our children get the early intervention services they may need.

Infants are typically evaluated by pediatricians at birth to determine if there are any developmental concerns. Infants who show early signs of disabilities are typically referred to a developmental interventionist who can evaluate their abilities.
