Every mother is special and deserves our thanks on Mother's Day, and I believe special education moms deserve extra thanks for all the extra things they do for their children. Every mother is special in her own way, and moms of children with disabilities are uniquely special. If you are the mother of a child with a disability, you've been so busy doing what is necessary to help your child that you may not have thought much about how vital your efforts are in your child's life. So take a minute to learn why you're special and get the thanks you deserve.
