All About Parenting Blog Carnival: Do-It-Yourself Day Camp
Create your own summer camp at home for fun and learning!
Whether you're just battling summer boredom or if you want to keep learning going over school break with a little fun on the side, these activities can help. The key to keeping your kids interested and entertained while they learn is to make it fun.
Does your child hate to read? Then try other ways of sharing great stories from books. Take turns reading or act out the story. Make a tent using blankets over your kitchen table, and read aloud huddled inside. Make hand shadow puppets to act out your child's favorite stories. Find tips and suggestions you can use to keep learning (and having fun of course) over the summer break.
Do you have a parenting and family themed blog? If so, we'd like to invite you to participate in next month's All About Parenting Blog Carnival. Interested? View the rules here. If your submission is chosen, we'll publish a link to it on the blog that is hosting the carnival for that month. We welcome your ideas for future topics.
