Researchers at Northwestern University of Chicago have developed gel that may potentially bring promise to people with spinal cord injuries. The gel inhibits growth of scar tissue, which enables spinal cord fibers to regrow. Showing positive results in laboratory research, the gel may have potential for use in humans in the future.
