Considering Placement for Your Child?

While discussing placement options for your child, you will likely have many decisions to make. You will need to consider your child's abilities and which services and what setting will be most appropriate for her. In developing an Individual Education Program for your child, schools are required to consider a full continuum of services. Placement in a regular education program with appropriate support is the first option to consider. Some children with disabilities can meet their learning goals in the regular classroom with collaboration services.
